Wet Hair - „glass fountain“               

Wet Hair, a two-man band consisting out of two grown men; Shawn Reed (Raccoo-oo-oon/Night People) and Ryan Garbes (Raccoo-oo-oon /Dunebuggy) have made two records out of one session. That's nine songs total on four sides of vinyl. Everybody says they sound like suicide but that's would be too simple an explanation. Personally, I think they sounds more like Krautrock, but you can interpret their beautyful rythms any what you want. The only consensis is that with shawn's dark voice and the monotony of the tracks end up sounding like something that is definetly not positive. It all boils down to drums/ drummachine with solid synth melodies and vocals.

Wet Hair - „dream“               

I'm really looking forward to hearing more from this band, wet hair is totally progressive and you never know what will happen with them next. They are from Iowa City, (which I found out is a small city thanks to the internet). The First record called „dream“ was released in the beginning of 2009 and a small repress is still available, „glass fountain“ is available in an edition of 600 pieces on not not fun.
