Mouthus, a solid band from Brooklyn
continues their enormous vinyl output.
Divisionals is the second long-playing record on
ecstatic peace! and like the thirteenth LP at
all after several splits and 12” on labels like
Troubleman Unlimited, Load and Olde English Spelling
Bee.
Mouthus
Brian Sullivan (Basalt Fingers, Eskimo King) and
Nate Nelson (Religious Knives, Afternoon Penis)
plays it soft on this one with less drums/guitar and
the focus is on manipulated sounds. All four tracks
are very homogenous with loops, industrial sounds
and vague vocals. This record is more rhythmic noise
than the experimental guitar/drums/voice-rock from
their older records.
Divisionals is limited to 500
copies on vinyl and should be bought with all other
mostly still available and also limited records by
this cute American band.
