Live From The New
Age
- Matrix Metals
Cassette
Two new tapes from not
not fun; "Flamingo Breeze/Pocahaunted" & "Live From
The New Age". Matrix metals is super funky, like an
old movie disco-scene on bad video quality. On side
A, Flamingo Breeze brings you a medley of
good vibrations for the hipster lo-fi discotheque.
Same on side B, repeating melodies and a beat that
makes your body move to Ray Ban meltdown and tanning
salons. Drum machine, guitar and keyboard/synth-sounds
filtered through “the fucked up filter”, which goes
the same for the artwork – a photocopied cover and
insert with two tickets for a show in the year 2086
at coco bongo club. Edition of 125 copies from
not not fun.

Flamingo Breeze -
Pocahaunted
Cassette
"Live From The New Age" is the final release of
Pocahaunted. After several records on different
labels; Woodsist, Arbor and Troubleman Unlimited,
the “era of eh-oh” comes to an end. Three live tunes
on this tape, on the first side, songs from
Manhattan and Eagle Rock, the second side contains a
track from Chinatown. All three are more in the old,
improvish and psychedelic style, not like the
bassline-drivin' hippie-dub from their latest
records and tour. I think most of the copies are
lost in Germany, so order one from
Bis
Aufs Messer and sell it on ebay. Artwork is
really bad but it’s limited to 200 copies.
