Dunebuggy’s Mirage
Ma Hal is nothing but straight rock! Taterbug
and Ryan Garbes (Raccoo-oo-oon/Wet Hair) from Iowa
City teams up to teach you that world is a simple
thing. Drums, bass, guitar and sexy male vocals by
Taterbug drivin wild on this record. These guys
don’t fear the testosterone and create something
pure and powerful out of it. Five tracks of
downgraded stadium rock on a 15 minute tape. Same as
Evan Miller’s record it comes with beautiful Artwork
printed on transparent plastic foil. Dunebuggy
released another tape on night people at the same
time. This one is available at GEL (http://www.gel-life.com/).

Evan miller’s tape
called Contacting The Eye is completely different
from his old releases. On his last tapes he played
the guitar in a conventional way, but this time no
guitar, only a swelling tone forming a meditative
drone on side A. Nothing new but solid. B-side is
more varying and leads into a rhythm in the end. 7
minutes each side is a short ride into droneland.
Evan Miller is from Iowa City as well and released
several tapes, cdrs and a lp on labels like Night
People or Arbor.
